Going to take a look at a 1984 Sylvan super snapper 16 in the morning. It's just the boat and trailer. The interior is pretty much rotted away, but the shell is in good shape. No leaks. The trailer pulls down the road straight says the guy. I'm thinking I can put it up for a couple hundred bucks... I'll let you know what happens.

It's a tiller model. The hull and trailer are in good shape. Interior is gonna need to be completely rebuilt. Gonna meet the guy and get some info and see it first hand.

Picked it up with registration for next to nothing. Gonna gut it in the next few days, and make a list of what I'll need. Going to be a very budget build (Facebook, and CL for the parts I can find used). Should be a good time.

I was able to rip out some carpet and clean up the inside a bit today before it got too hot outside. Tomorrow morning I'll work on getting the old wood and foam out of it. Hopefully leaving me a solid shell to work with. Already have some ideas on how I want to do the layout.

Got the boat completely gutted and cleaned out. Hull is in good shape. No leaks or corrosion.

Now I'm busy coming up with a parts list to build the boat. Going to be a fun project.

Not sure what I'm going to do for a motor yet. Boat is rated up to 40hp.

Iboats has a store that sells covers and tie downs as well as 1000's of other boat goodies. Nobody is going to specific covers for the old SC models.

Glad to see another Sylvan up. Not much worse than mine was, but at least I didn't start with a terrarium lol
