Question about port light repair (thickened epoxy in old screw holes?)

Hi - I'm fixing a leaky port light. Have removed and will clean up surface before reinstalling. Before I reinstall, I am considering filling the existing screw holes with thickened epoxy and then drilling and tapping new holes before I screw the port light back in.

My question - If I fill the existing holes, at the current size, will the screws grab when i drill and tap? Or should I bore out a larger diameter hole to be filled with thickened epoxy - so the hole i drill and tap is all inside new hardened thickened epoxy? This section of the hull is solid fiberglass, no core.

Also, best filler to use in thickening the epoxy? I am using West Systems.

Thanks.

If the screw holes were not stripped, just mix up some 105/205 and use a syring and #16 needle to fill the holes

If the holes were stripped, chuck up an allen wrench in the drill, stick the allen in the hole, spin it around a bit in the core, then inject thickened epoxy in the void. Let cure, then drill for screws
