I just discovered tis when I was working on final stuff to put my boat in water. Pretty sure this wasn't there when I put it away. I would appreciate any guidance on how to repair this. It looks like just the Gelcoat is damaged. Here are the pics for help that would be much appreciated. IMG_0197.jpg

Looks like it’s just the gel coat. I have a 08 Tahoe Q6S, my brother busted up the gel coat on the bow trying to load it on the trailer at the boat ramp. I just ordered some of Spectrum’s gel coat repair paste last week. I’m going to attempt to repair it myself as soon as it comes in. I’ll let you know how it comes out, if you decide to fix yourself

May have been a blister or air pocket in the layup from factory... odds are (if it truly wasnt there before spring) water got into the blister over time and froze over the winter and blew the gelcoat clean off...

Good news is it's a pretty easy fix

ya that's just gelcoat that came off so thats good, feather it with 80 grit and reapply with brush (nice and thick), then smooth out and you'll never know it was there
