Another newbie question for the forum. I have a Dewalt DWP849x 7"/9" polisher. Backing disc measures about 6.5". No ideas which pads to buy. Any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated.

I get mine at harbor freight or amazon. I have a few different backing discs depending on need.

the type of pad you need is determined by the backing disk. if it hook and loop, etc.

Its a hook & Loop backing disc. So you think the harbour freight ones work okay? Heard they throw alot of fiber off when new, but maybe that is all wool pads.

I never had harbor freight pads throw anything off. I use them all the time keep them in stock down there even.
