I pulled a window out looking for a leak ( was not there) and need to re seal it- I'm sure I don't want to use anything I can't get back apart.....what is the sealant for this application??

Any silicone sealer will probably do the job but my preference is Permatex's Right Stuff. It's thicker than most and stays put on vertical surfaces to fill wider gaps better than most sealers.

isn't the 4000 more of a permanent adhesive? I want to put something there to seal it but if I have to replace the window, I don't want to have to cut it out with a chain saw!
