when removing and replacing transum and stingers bulk head ect..
does the hull have to be cradled ? I was wondering if when removing the stringers
will it cause the hull to sag even slightly ?

YUp, it is recommended to build a support cradle just for the reason you mentioned. Welcome aboard.

The hull itself has little strength without the stringers and other structure. Usually a bunk trailer along with some bow supports will keep the hull in shape.

Otherwise, a cradle as mentioned.
