Glad you got the motor issues out of the way, there's still time for some fishing before it turns real nasty.

You do nice work. I saw a thread in 2017 when you did an 84 lund tyee. Been trying to track you down w a question. In your pics from that project I didn't see a piece of sheet metal that goes from side of gunnel n sticks out towards dash on both passenger n drivers side. It seems to give limited support and makes for a pain in re-assembly. Do you remember if you just ground rivets off n took those pieces off? I know it's been a few years but This is my first time doing this and any help would be so appreciated. Here are some pics of passenger side with piece of sheet metal I am speaking of. Thank you. I am putting in all new floors, vinal and parts of dash. Thanks again. I did crate a thread here yesterday. A few above this 1.

Honestly its been quite a while since I redid that boat and I can't remember if there was metal on my dash or not.
