Good luck with the boat run. Paste some regular pics. PB blows with all the ads.

I just take a pic on my phone. Em that to myself. It automatically sizes the pic for em. Save in a file, then copy paste.

That little duck boat, is a friend of mine from work..

The weather was gloomy and misted all morning but we went, my buddy lives just off the maumee river in napoleon Ohio so I dropped in their. Fired right up and took off! Amazing feeling I tell ! We had a blast! That 67' 40hp evinrude got us up on plane fast and we topped out 22 mph!

This is my first boat I personally own.. And have only ever driven PWCs and pontoon boats in the past. And let me tell you, I had fun! We drove about 2 miles east and 2 miles west of the launch 4 times and ran great!
And then, throttle down to dock and pull out...
I have no power, put it in gear and nothing.. FORWARD REVERSE nothing. Never hit anything and the shear pin was broken.
Now mind you, I did have problems putting it in gear, like I was going to pull the control morning screws through the hull hard time.. Unhooked the cable from engine and it moved like butter. Maybe that issue caused a reason for the shear pin to break? To me it seems the sleeve in the prop hub moved maybe a 1/16".

Congrats on the splash! The smile is priceless. Shear pin may have been fatigued from age. I recommend carrying at least one spare.

It was for sure a blast. Made my weekend for sure.
I need to figure out why it shifts extremely hard into and out of gear. Like I'm pulling on the lever to engage and disengage. (With cable unhooked from engine, the cable moves like butter) also need to figure out of I put a hole in the lower unit from towing it home. (I'm a rookie) had engine down and it banged on the roller mount all the way home. šŸ˜¬
