1991 Starcraft Starcaster 1700

I hope I am posting this to the correct area as I am new to this forum.

Recently purchased a 1991 Starcraft Starcaster 1700 with a 60HP Johnson.

I am hoping someone could point me in the right direction as into where I could find a windshield that I don't have to customize myself. I can't find anything OEM, aftermarket, or even a schematic with part no's. Google hasn't played nice either. I talked to a few local dealers around my area and they explained that they usually stop making OEM parts after 10 years of the MFR'd date and couldn't point me anywhere.

Old Boats are NOT like Old Cars. Parts are hard to come by in many cases and...They told you TRUE. Your best bet is a Boat Salvage yard IF you can find one. Next option is to fabricate it yourself. Several of our members have done it with GOOD results.

Post a pix of a Starcaster, most OEM windshields arent specific to just their boat(s) or just 1 model.

A salvage yard might offer a similar enough windshield to suffice.

You need the frame and all, correct?

Keep an eye on ebay and craigs for similar windshields, ya might get lucky

I recently bought a 2001 Starcraft Starcaster 1754 and none of the dash switches are working. Motor starts and runs great but I want to get the switches working. Can anyone tell me what the switches actually go to? Thanks
