Okay it must of happened I got tons of pics today.

I took the old tent boat house down. New metal one went up. I cut and modified the tent one so it covers the tractor and lawnmowers.

Kinda made me sad seeing the old tent boathouse coming down.

And my homemade winterizing jug. On off valve and I got the double male hose made for it.

Well I been just using it a while butt.........

Last trip it did not want to go into start mode. It finally went and we had out day out.

2 days ago I took the throttle control out and apart. Broke a little piece. Well I finally found it and the part number. Throttle only control shaft. It is 10 bucks.

Ican now take this thing apart and put it together in my sleep.

Issue seems to have been. Grease hardened into a clay like substance. The little pin binded and broke the part. I got it all cleaned now and ready for the new part

Parts came. Yippee. I got to fix my brothers washer tomorrow. Then friday put the boat back together and clean it from this.

I did check it definitely is working smoothly now.

Nice. Still going to get some boating in this year?

My bayliner buddy. Who has had a boat since we were 18. He says it gets chilly but we got till the end of november before the first freeze.

I know one thing there wont be any more at the crack of dawn boating going on. It is chilly. We gonna wait till the sun is warm now.

Lookin like 40's high of 70's for a little bit. I plan to get out sunday. We be having sweats on now. No more shorts and tank tops LOL. Then it is supposed to rain next week.

I be happy if i get out 2-3 more times before it gets to cold.

I got the throttle together in and the boat cleaned and charged. She is ready for the water again. You don't need pics take my word for it. You all seen this boat together before. Looks the same handle on the wall.

I had a rough start in the spring. But a good summer. Motor is breaking in fine. I average 14-16 gallons of gas every 6 weeks. 3 liters got their points. 30 mph steady forever cruising speed. Just a little to fast for conditions sometimes. Got to slow down to 22 or so when it is choppy behind barges and the steamboats and tugs.

Most of the time 30 is good just keep your eyes peeled for oncoming waves and swells.

I know I got enough boating in that I will be happy when it is winterized for the season. And I got to wax it for winter.

To all the newby's tearing into them. I was there. Keep at it. It is soooo worth it when your done.

I will be back to doing the chevelles interior this winter after it is winterized. I going back to that beast. I am building the 454 into a 496 with brodix heads and a roller cam. Now that the boat is done hogging up my time and money.

I did rust repair and painting on both my towmaters last summer. Always something going on around here. And lately it was boat related. Trucks to pull them roofs to put the truck and boat under. LOL I am even getting a receiver for the chevelle for the boat. Drives my chevelle buddies nut. I wouldnt pull the boat with it. Yea but i will.

We had a rather short and cool summer here. For the past couple weeks we've been 50's to low 60's for highs. They,re predicting 29 for a low Sunday night. Been bow hunting with no thoughts of boating with these temps.

LOL it looks like it be over soon. we got a frost warning sun. Then a 10 days straight of rain over the next 2 weekends and everything in between.

I put gas in the snow blower and made sure it runs. It is coming.
