Glad to see them getting it dredged for you !

Thank you. This is really my first year. After talking to the director of parks. I got a plan.

This happens every year. Use the ramp while it is up. 25 something is normal pool. It hits 40ish usually. Once it is receding use it till it is 28 foot. Then just plan on going to a few lakes till it is dredged. I only been on the river so far. I would like to do a lake. I was only land locked 10 days this time LOL. It isn't the end of the world.

Issue is I can go to the river and be pulling out of the dock in 15 minutes from leaving the house. A day at the lake is a all day affair. But it be fun and give some variety.

I am starting to relax and trust the boat now. It hasn't done anything bad in a while. We went quite a ways today. Dredging machine was leaving as I was putting in.

I went about 30 miles. My son was grabbing the windsheild and looking at the banks. Nothing no houses no city anywhere. He looked and me and said. Dad are we lost. Are we gonna be able to go home. I laughed and said it is the twilight zone, We be fine. He never settled down so I said you wanna turn around and go back. He looked so relieved and said yes. We had a big adventure didn't we dad?

Passes 4 barges. The boat handles decent sized waves in stride. Nothing scary or rough going on.

So it isn't ever over. But at least we reached a stasis point. I can go out and not fix anything. Not get gas nothing. And it is ready to go out again. Anyway I think for all intents and purposes here on the forum it is done. It does what it is supposed to and finally is dependable. So it is a success story.

I been looking at more props. Mickey has 20 something of them he said. I got some catching up to do LOL.

Sounds like a fun adventure. I hear you on the props. Thinking next spring I may pop for a 13p for mine to see what it does.

My buddy my age who has had a boat since we were 18. He insist for everyhull motor combo there is a prop that works better than the rest. 3 props same pitch all act differently with different top speeds and acceleration characteristics. He said turbo props are the one.

I like the power2 prop I got. it is dialed in with it. My boat seems to like 21 pitch props. But for skiing it is the prop. Massive out of the hole shifts and good cruise RPM. But it is irreplaceable. And it is in new condition. I don't skii. well I do but not in my boat. Need more drivers and I only one driving mine for a while anyway.

I want to take it off and just giggle and talk about it before I break it. Put a good stainless 21 on there. The power2 is worth a fortune and I only cruise so it isn't needed. Go on the rare parts shelf with the one of incredibly rare chevelle stuff I got. It does sound cool and you get odd looks. It is definately shifting gears. The WTF looks are priceless.

BOAT bust out another thousand.

I just bought a special order cover for my boat. Windstorm elite series. Sunbrella 9.25 oz fabric. 10 year warentee. Bought a cover support system with straps so water wont pool if it somehow gets under the boat house.

I laid out for the new boathouse today. Measurements and levels. Got the corners marked now got to dig in one spot.

I am getting a All Steel Carports carport. 20x21 foot. I will order that monday they are not open on the weekends.

I ordered 2 new fenders for the red towmater.

I aint working on the boat anymore. But i am working on boat stuff.

Well I been doing boat related stuff as usual. I been using the tahoe for the boat. The durango towmater was getting alot of work done it is the preferred towmater. I got new fenders for it. And tons of mechanical work. It wasnt that horrible looking with the fender flairs on it hid most of it.

I got the new cover today. Spent several hours setting it and the cover support system up. I did a trail run uncovering and covering it back up. Much faster with this cover.

I ordered another new prop it is due in thursday. A Hustler 4 blade jobber.

I still here and playing Spongebob.

Carport people called yesterday. The be here tues between midmorning and 2. So I got to have that area cleared out and all the trucks and boats out of the driveway so they can back their trailer in.

I went sat in a misty rain and tested the prop. Used the top and bow cover. we and the boat interior stayed amazingly dry.

Huge difference. 30 mph GPS @ 3200 rpm. It is the cruising prop of the Olympics.

And a couple or it didn't happen pics.
