Just wade it out to deeper water ...:)

It is the way it is here. It is 6 foot under the point of the depth finders mounting. It just gets silt in it over the winter. On a small boat like mine no problem. Just keep the outdrive up and idle into the main channel.

Today it was cold again. 42 this morning. I bundled up and the goal was to fix the brake light I knew wasn't working on the trailer.

I went out and it was snowing LOL. Well.

I knew it had been crashed it was cracked. I took the red cover off and the filaments were intact. It just looked like it had leaked a long time and corroded.

I went to take the inside housing off to clean it up. Well that wasn't happening it was cracked and fell all apart.

This is where all winter hanging out in the boat isle paid off. I knew where the tail lights were and how much they cost LOL.

And I am learning never buy for the boat without a gift for the admiral. So I got her a new planter for the front porch. "I had to get tail light for the trailer And just look at this planter I found for only.........." Done out to put them on no drama.

They even had the same style lights it had. I brought a battery out and tested it all good.

I even sanded the metal and painted under the tail lights with epoxy paint. Since i can't do it when I do all of it.

We don't have that problem here either on the coast of NJ, The wife and I were at our marina on Saturday afternoon it was 75 degrees out and we saw a couple boats already out on the water. It will probably only be 50 degrees tomorrow but the stripers are just about here. Think OCEAN!!!!!!!!

Boat is looking good, we need to hear to some engine noise.

LOL I can do that. But it just rained and made a muddy mess. So ground got to dry and the admiral got to be off work. No running the boat when she is sleeping.

Watch out for snownadoes tomorrow!

Tornadoes were 2 days ago. Beauty of tornadoes compared to hurricanes is this. They miss 99.9% of everything. You only see what they do hit. Hurricanes destroy everything every year. I live here my whole life I saw one as a kid. It was 20 miles away tho.

Everywhere has it give and takes. We just getting to the good part here now.

LOL yea, I hear ya on that... but I will say, with 2 little ones and a tornado watch last night, I didn't sleep for crap, woke up to the wind ripping around 3 times last night...

Though its a new house with vinyl siding, so a breeze sounds like an F5

Like i said I lived here my whole life. I bought a house with a in ground basement/garage. We turn on the news and sit in the van. It can't get us. Bring blankets pillows computers tablets. Van is a right comfortable place. Tornadoes never take anything below ground level. There is a early warning system. My wife and my phone has it. We live next to the firehouse. If any one of the 3 miss it the other 2 got it. If the siren goes off and it isn't 12 noon you already know check in the van LOL.

Me I am Dare Devil Dan. Once they are safe. I stand in the back by the boat and watch. She don't even complain after all these years anymore. She knows I see one I coming in. I look and show her on the weather radar where it is. When I give the all clear she smiles. She knows the dangerous part has past.

Here is the motor sounds video. I vacuumed it. I did the interior cleaned it with a anti bacterial anti fungus cleaner. I did the inside of the cockpit cover. The bow cover. Waxed her. Yea i really laid under her in the mud to wax.

Now all that is left is paint the trailer. But the boat is ready.

She all wrapped back up ready for rain tomorrow LOL.

Oh yes pics at the landing. Video running in the river.

I upload to You Tube then use the link for the forum.

And if we lucky on a later trip a video of my son catching his first fish. That should be a riot. He had the float go under they were stealing the bait. He said "Hey Dad You Need To Get Over Here Something Going On" With a panicked urgency. One of those moments I will remember the rest of my life. He had bites but never caught one in the 2 trips we had so far last fall. He wants a fish soooo bad.
