Mike just keep your eyes out and when the right one pops up just go for it ! :joyous:
I got pretty lucky when I found the WM . I have been sending the po pics from time to time . She’s really glad that it’s getting a new lease on life and may make it down t the show to see it . I think her brother lives in Orlando and might make it there also .. That would be pretty cool !
I put a coat of varnish on the seats . Then finished hooking up the lights along with a few other odds and ends ..
Hooked it up to the suv to test the lights ... Right side worked great but the left nothing ...:cold:
Just needed to ground better so they are working good now ..Couldn’t resist a few laps around the neighborhood.
It seems to pull just fine and I didn’t loose any hubcaps or anything
Low country boil for dinner tonight ! I’m starvin Marvin too !
Cheers all !!!

No paint on it to worry about and the decals will need to be found and replaced ..I’ll pick up an assortment of stuff d get it cleaned up .I don’t think a pressure washer will hurt it as long as I don’t go crazy with it ..

Spent half the day installing those stupid rollers in the center beam .. What a royal pita !! Scratched the paint around each one .. Just a complete bad set up by Tee Nee imho ... Trailer could be a little longer or the boat shorter ..
Winch post is cool but not very functional.. See any reason why I couldn’t drop the bow eye down ? The winch doesn’t lock very well so gunna have to secure some other way for now .. The boat never had rear eyes not the handles .. Long term I will do something better but should be ok for the trip .. I wanted to take some pics with it outside but haven’t made it out of the garage yet .. Sits really high also . Gunna need a step ladder to finish things up inside . 5BEA0367-8C61-42B9-BF8B-06843F4C8471.jpegD203A46C-971C-460B-9ADD-CE4A71DB4408.jpegD0FD5F86-16F4-473A-B9AC-A1D8A792127D.jpeg4E97954F-51FF-4DBF-AF14-4FE83F19413F.jpeg1228ABBE-A594-4188-91C5-B99A8A896BCE.jpeg

Sam the detail is amazing! I might not even need to send over a punch list! She is looking so good, nice work my friend!

I don't know about for a windshield, but I like lexan better than acrylic for the things I have done. It machines better with woodworking tools (carbide) and is more forgiving and flexible...at least for what I have done with it. Acrylic seems a lot stiffer and more brittle.

Lexan is not UV stable. where Acrylic is, however Acrylic is brittle and must be heat formed. check your local yellow pages, many plastic companies down here in FL also do manufacturing, including heat forming.

She is still a bit dusty .. I need to do some cleaning on it and the camper ..
What are y’all ‘s thoughts on traveling with the motor hanging on the transom ?
Bad idea ? I think I may strap it down inside the boat somehow idk ...

Looks fantastic Sam! I would probably put the motor in the camper well padded rather than take a chance on it chafing the boat. When do you leave for the show?
