1994 230 Sea Ray Sundancer Transom question

Looking at an Ad for 1 and says Transom still needs alittle work. anyone know much Transom might cost to be repaired or if id be able to tackle myself for how much?

You probably need to find out what ' a little work' means. Usually it means a lot of work. Not sure you want to go there.

A transom is either Good or Bad. A Little work means Total Replacement. Once you get the deck open to access the transom you'll more than likely find other issues.

could be a chip in the gel coat or needs wax......thats a little work.

beyond that, usually means gut the boat and full restoration.
