I am having water getting into my fiberglass runabout but can't find the source. Little bit of history here recent replacement of floor did nick the bottom of the hull with deemed saw had that all professionally repaired so that area looks great suspect through transom hull drain tube ( it's brass ? Pressed fit ) through the transom how do would you get it out ? Also what would be a better replacement for it? Have owned this boat for 15 yrs w/ no leak problems till I replaced the floor everything else looks good. Took it out yesterday in water for 6 hrs drained out about 8 gals of water

If it's the drain tube you should easily be able to see that. Is this an Inboard or Outboard powered boat? Are there any other fittings or noticeable damage to the hull below the waterline? What kind of a Plug do you use? If it's an expansion plug did you screw it clockwise several turns before snapping it down to secure it?
