Nice job, Rick! Been doing LOTS of reading to prep my mind for the resto job this fall/winter on mine. I have the 3.8L currently and have the thought of changing over to the 5.7L when I get to it. I'm thinking the donor boat is the way to go to get all the "stuff" needed to change it over. Again, great job!!

Thank you for the kind words. If you get a line on a donor boat, there are some great dimensional drawings from Mercruiser for the different motors.They can help you a LOT figuring out where the fit issues will be.
