Stabilizing boat for restoration

I'm new to boat ownership. I bought a really cheap 1975 fiberglass Starcraft 16' (I can't find the model name anywhere, even upon googling...next I'll input the serial number, see what that reveals.)
I've removed most of the rotten deck (not the stringers yet) and interior. My question is this: how can I stabilizer the boat, while still on the trailer, so I can remove the stringers and bulkheads?
Is there an easy way to make a hybrid cradle on the trailer?
I'm sure I'll have more questions as this project continues. Thanks!

that looks like a tin starcraft?

The American 16 I think was the common 'glass SC in that time and is a very obvious glass boat with smooth sides.

If it is tin, then your job got easier

you can build a cradle on the trailer with plywood and 2x4's

The bunk trailer is a plus
you can add more wood (as already mentioned) to spread the weight
i agree looks like an aluminum boat
looks like a super sport to me🤔

Thanks for the ideas!
I though, at first, I might have an aluminum, but it has no diverting and the exterior of the hill isn't metal, but feels like some kind of hardboard. I'm not too familiar with Starcrafts yet, but hope to be soon.
