Water pump housing

Pulled my water pump housing to replace my impeller. Noticed some wear grooves in the housing. Should I replace it or leave it alone?

Chances are that a new impeller will be messed up if you re-use the housing. I would replace it.

How is the wear plate the other end that the impeller also rides on?

Looks like it’s groved too.

The plate is just as bad. A compete kit is the way to go so the impeller lasts.
