    Default Yamaha 90 2 stroke-No power

    on land the motor appears to operate properly. Idles ok, shifts into gear ok, throttles up ok but as soon as the boat is in the water it will die when put into gear and throttled up. ??

    check compression, check spark fix the fuel system.
    your describing a clogged/restricted fuel system
