Yamaha 8hp 4 stroke carb photo request

Hi,

I have a four stroke 6hp Yamaha which from what I can see is identical to the 8hp with the possible exception of the throttle stop on the carb. Same idle and main jet part number, same bore, just differen max revs. The throttle on the 6hp has a max stop but I suspect the 8hp carb doesn't have this. The idle screw will still be there. I would very much appreciate a photo of the 8hp carb prior to hacksawing off the throttle stop. I attach a photo of the 6hp carb to allow comparison.

ok, got the details myself.... now what... anyone! is it just hacksaw off? left is the 8 right the 6

ok, I hacksawed of the stop. No difference in rotation. I purchased the 8hp linkage component, couple of pound. This increased the rotation. I then took the carb out and welded the attachment further up. The engine now throttles further than an 8hp. I have swapped the prop and now it gets three people onto the plane with my inflatable. Total spent for change, £2 for the plastic bit, weld free, new prop £85. 6hp now 8 and a bit...
