Yamaha 60hp Four Stroke fuel injected NMEA 2000

Hi All,

I have a 60hp Yamaha 4 stroke with the digital gauges. These are not the Command Link version

I would like to know if I can get NMEA 2000 information out the engine, and if so how I go about it.

I am experienced in NMEA 2000 wiring, I just do not know where to look for a spur connection under the cowling.

The model number is F60CET and the serial number is 1001874

to my knowledge,no.
what kind of information do you think your going to get? about all the ECM outputs is maint and engine monitored information on such things as pulse width,ign timing any codes set and engine hours.
with the command link AND the senders/transducers you can get engine temp ,engine water pressure seawter temp,depth and surface speed.
but I gotta know,what information do you actually think the ECU is gonna give you ?
command link can accept certian NMEA information but none is output by the engine ECU to my knowledge.
