Default Yamaha 115 HP 2 stroke/ buzzer sound

hi everyone, here's the problem. i was riding at about 26 MPH and suddently the buzzer went off on me. At the same time i felt i lost thrust! i stop for a second or two, the buzzer stop and i was able to keep on going at a lower speed. i just change the impeller not long ago so i don't think is the impeller. anyone know what might have happened. thanks for all your help. Daniel

bad thermostat, temp switch, blocked water passages,or picked up some trash restricting water intake would be the most common.
I have seen impellers loose vanes if started dry eve on ones less than 1 year old
