    Default yamaha 100hp 4 stroke

    Motor starts and run good out of water, with hose pipe. Put in lake and idle great, push the thrattle and it dies.

    you need to post the year and model. if it is fuel injection, you need to clean the VST chamber, the fuel pump screen, get injectors sent off and cleaned and flow tested, new filters (all). new spark plugs, check TPS, check isc valve, clean fuel rail..have motor hooked up to a computer and checked for fault codes.

    You will need a DVA adapter http://www.usatoolwarehouse.com/usat...e/ESI-640.html First test compression, Second test spark with a spark gap tester set a 7/16 gap, Third check timing, next CLEAN your carbs properly,
