What Controls to use for 1992 Yamaha 2 stroke?

I just got a 1992 115 2-stroke (model no: 115TLRQ - electric tilt) but i didnt get any controls or control cables with it...


It looks like i can use the 703 or the 704, depending on how i want to mount it...


what about the 6x0 and the 6x3.... will these work as well or are they indented for newer engines?


are there any other yamaha control boxes that would work?

from what i see, the 6x0 (flush mount) uses the same 5 pin connector as the 704 binnacle controller (looks like a 6 pin hex with 1 missing)

the 703 uses a 10 pin, which is what my engine has.



according to the parts catalog, the 703 and 704 both work for my engine






are the 6x0 and the 704 the same except the mounting style?
what wiring adapter and parts are required when using the 6x0 (flush mound side) or 704 (binnacle) vs. the 703 which is the self contained unit?



I would prefer to get the 6x0 because i could mount it ideally... otherwise i will just have to use a 703...


i take it i need a key and... what else?
