Suzuki, 9.9hp, 4 stroke, cooling water

2003 9.9 suzuki elec start
1. engine starts and idles fine(briefly). shows no water from the pee line.
2. impeller looked ok, changed anyway. No joy.
3. with lower end off tried blowing water up the intake line, but doesn't appear to get past the middle unit. water is dripping back out at the top of the line(approx 12").

any good ideas to access the top of line inside the mid unit??
any direction to proceed also?

clear your pee line with a wire, usually she gets clogged by those pesky nest builders, remove your thermosat and use air and flush water back down to LU, recheck you installation of the water pump.

pump impeller and thermostat good. with pressure can forced water up from pump outlet and finally blew obstruction out. hooked up "pee" line and all works well.
