I'm posting this because i've gone as far I can with my knowledge to try fix my motor. A little background up to the problem may help you diagnose the issue. 2 weeks ago, I ran 62.5 mi. all over the LA marsh. On my way back to the launch, I'm running at 40mph in the middle of a lake and it felt like my motor caught (I thought it was a crab trap). So I throw it into neutral and shut the motor off. (bad idea) The motor never started back up. Once I got it back to the house, I changed the water/fuel seperator and got new gas, but still no crank. Yesterday, I took off the breather, plastic that covers the carborator, and sprayed some starter fluid into the carborator. For the first time, the engine actually started. I did it 3 times. So I think I've narrowed it down to either I'm not getting fuel or fire. I traced the fuel hose to the filter in the motor which I did pump and see fuel was getting to it. When I checked the fuel pump, I had no pressure built up and when I took off the bottom drain plug basically no fuel leaked out. I tried to include some pictures to show but I can't seem to get them on here. If anyone has any information or thoughts from what I posted....I'm very greatful for help! Thanks
