New Yamaha Fuel Gauge Not Working

I bought a new Blackjack in September w/ a Yamaha F225 Sport Model. The fuel gauge is showing full all the time. Obviously a problem that can get me in a bind.

I know this is a warranty item, but not real convenient to get boat to the dealer. Was wondering if anyone had experienced the same issue and has an easy fix. I have to think it is not a tough one to resolve.

are you sure it is not a sending unit problem??

Digital Gas and Speedometer gauge settings.jpgAttached is a photo of the gauge and it's settings. I though I would try the simple approach before attacking the sending unit. Sorry about the photo quality.

Wouldn't count on Yamaha picking up the bill, you may have to insist the dealer cover it. See if your dipswitches are in the correct position, you will have to verify your sender's ohm range...
