Good afternoon. I recently bought a new/used jon boat and it has a 2004 Yamaha 50 hp 2 stroke on the back. I took it out for the first time yesterday and it wouldn't run right. It would start and idle fine but when I went to give it gas to get out of the water it started cutting out then it would die. It did have about a 1/4 of gas in it when I bought it but he said he ran it like 3 weeks ago. I filled it up with new fuel before we went out. Could it be bad fuel? Any thoughts out there why she won't run right?
