Default modify f80 yamaha to give 100 h.p...Dealer says it can be done but won't give in

The dealer I bought the motor from originally told me that the f80 and the f100 were the same motor (identical) except for some modifications - possibly to the carburation system - anyone know anything about this? Please help if you can! Thanks!

Ahoy, CptnGreg. The reason the dealer wont tell you is probably that he doesn't know. I don't either. Yamaha, like other manufacturers, doesn't want you to know and doesn't want their competition to know.If it's anything like the 2 strokes, it's much cheaper to trade than to try to hop up the lower HP version.Red sky at night. . .JB
