low presure light is on 6hp 2009 four stroke Yamaha

when start up my 6hp yamaha the LOW PRESURE light comes on I check the D stick is full ,help please?

Could be low pressure or a bad sensor, need to check pressure to see

I have never even seen a 4 stroke 6 before but I am sure a service manual would give you info .

I would think pulling the sensor and testing it would be the 1st thing and then hooking a pressure gauge to the port you removed the sensor from would be the next thing, but if it really is low pressure the you might hurt the motor by running it

when start the motor red light stays on!Can it be from me lay the motor down on its sids and lots of oil draind?
