emergency fuel enrichment on 90 hp yamaha 1999
Does the blue choke wire from key switch hook to emergency fuel enrichment and what postion should it be in normal, open, or closed for normal running

Normal is how it is usually set.
I believe the blue wire from your ignition is not even used, you don't have a way of choking from the key - correct.

He is correct Normal is where it should be during normal running
the blue wire on my C40TLRX comes from the lighting coil(stator) to heat up the unit while motor is running to close off the fuel enrichment
