Did Suzuki manufacture the 4 Stroke 15 HP for Johnson in 1996?

Hi. I recently acquired a 1996 Johnson 4 stroke 15 HP J15FRLEDR. Is this engine made by Suzuki? Powerhead only or the entire motor? Does it reference to a particular Suzuki model for that same year? Thanks...Chuck

In the meantime I've been reading other posts that seem to indicate that mine is OMC; not Suzuki. F_R in particular says so in a few posts and he's a major player here.

It has the "genuine" OMC freeze plugs in the block....they look the same as other OMC engines. Is that proof that it is made by them?

Maybe my engine is collectible; eh? The very first 4 stroke engine to be made by Bombardier? Hahaha
