2004 Yamaha HPDI Fuel Consumption

What type of consumption should I be seeing on a '78 Mako 23 with a 2004 yamaha 250hp HPDI?

Also, what type of fuel flow meter do you guys use...any suggestions without breaking the bank? There are a lot of meters, I need some help being pointed in the right direction.

Does yamaha make a unit that will plug directly into the harness?
