Default 2004 yamaha 60trl shift and throttle problem

I had to do some work on my yamaha and after putting back together, I failed to secure the throttle and shift cables. I installed them back into the rubber piece and bolted it down but this does not secure the cables. What did i do wrong? What holds them in place?

i have that same motor and i did the same thing when i put it on my boat. i believe there is a grommet of some sort that the cables snap into that i didn't see. i'm sorry i can't remember exactly what it was, this was 3 years ago, but if it comes to me i will post.

I heard a drop earlier in the bilge so I cleaned it out and found a cable clamp part #42 (not im my manual) that locks the cables in place in the grommet.
