    Default 1996 yamaha 250 fuel comeing out the wheel

    hey guys i have another problem i finely got my 250 running after i bought it now i have a lot and i mean a lot of gas coming out the exhaust whit out it running i pump the bulb and the faster i pump it the faster it comes out what could this be maybe the fuel pumps ? or carburetors ? i am completely lost and the motor will still start and rev up just pours out the fuel and its a L250txru

    With most engines this symptom would point directly to a sticking float needle valve in the carburetors. This is especially possible with an engine that has set up for an extended period. Try giving a tap or two on the carburetor bowl to see if this stops the fuel flow. Don't be afraid to give the bowl a sharp rap but don't give it an "I'll kick your *****" blow either.
