1992 115 spark plug wires

My starboard plugs get rusty and corrode more quickly than the port side for some reason. When replacing the starboard sparkplugs this time, the springs corroded to the plugs and pulled out, ruining them. I called about replacement parts and have gotten 2 different stories. I hope somebody here can clear this up. The motor is a 1992 C115txrq. Can you replace the spark plug wires alone, or are they part of an assembly?

Well, a lot of searching has turned up a thread on another board about changing the ends (caps) on the wires. I hope that is all I will need to replace. Ordered new caps, and hope that is all I need.

You need to find out where all the salt water spray or other reason for the rusting is coming from and see about stopping it.
It is not normal to have that happen
