    Default 1991 yamaha 150 rpms limited to 2000

    Somebody did some repairs to my boat. Now that I have it back the engine runs great but the rpms are limited to somewhere around 2000 rpms. After the problem started, i noticed the tach and the oil pressure sensor are both off. Does anybody know of the best place to start looking for the problem (such as a bad ground wire around the tach).

    91 150? you dont have any oil pressure indicates.
    what tach are you running and have you tested the audible alarm ?
