07 4hp yami... need help with the throttle cable placement.

Greetings....

FNG here and I hope somebody can salvage my vacation this week..

Was out fishing the detroit river Friday night when the set screw came out of the handle and it disconnected.....
In the course of screwing around with that the throttle cable came off.

In looking at it, there is 2 possible slots that the cable can hook up...
Which slot does it hook to? The near one or the furthest one from the mtr?
Why are there 2 slots?

Also... if anybody happens know the size of that screw, that would help heaps.

Between trolling and jigging the river I have a ton of hours on this motor....always starts and runs great, but man does it shake the screws loose!

Found out that some of the motors have a 2nd cable and hence the reason for the 2nd notch...cable seats in the closest notch.

Bolt for the handle is a 5mm x 25 or 30.... forgot which one I grabbed.

Figure that I would post the resilts for the next cat that has to deal with this....

Problem solved.. time to go fishing!
