Trim problems on Volvo SX Cobra outdrive

97 Volvo cobra SX outdrive. I cannot get my trim to lower at all. I'm not getting any power to the outdrive. I hit a boulder in the water which broke part of the skeg and mangled up the prop some, but the boat still ran and the trim appeared to be working. I had the skeg and prop repaired but I can't get the trim to work now. The Skeg/prop repairman said he didn't touch the prop, so he doesn't know what it could be. Can anyone tell me how to trouble shoot this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated. there are no fluid leaks inside or outside the boat. All wires appear to be connected. Help please...........
