Default Does Volvo 4.3 GL have a fuel pump fuse

I tried to start my 4.3 Volvo yesterday.
    apparent lack of fuel
engine started and raced briefly when I primed carb with raw gas.
changed water/fuel seperating filter.and i do have gas in my tank,
This AM i disconnected gas line into carb and turned engine over
zero flow-assumed fuel pump is bad.
Volvo's replacement pump is over $200 so before i buy a new pump Id like to
ask the board if the fuel pump has a fuse that maybe bad
    or any other troubleshooting tips
    Thx

What model 4.3GL do you have? Need the letter/s following the 4.3GL, or the engine serial number.
I doubt you have a bad pump, but need the info to troubleshoot.

It's a 4.3GLPEFS when you go looking for parts.

You should have a 7.5A fuse under the plastic cover on the starboard exhaust elbow.

You could also have a faulty fuel pump relay. Here is a thread on how to troubleshoot the problem.

checked 7.5A fuse, doesnt appear fried or broken, should i replace fuse for elimination purposes?

dont have access to a test light at the moment
for elimination purposes? do you happen to have a volvo part number for the relay?
I have a volvo penta parts dealer 2 miles from me. in lieu of a test light it may be just as easy to replace relay, where is the relay located?
Im assuming if its not the relay, its the pump? sound reasoning?

I called the VP parts dealer and ordered the part, gave him the 4.3GL PEFS you provided(Thx) 18bucks
figure it is easier to eliminate the cheap stuff before i bite the bullet for a new pump

I had a relay go out on my 4.3 GS a couple of years ago. I ended up getting another one from here:

Not sure if this is the same as you need, you will have to check.

Also I don't know the difference between your 4.3 GL and my 4.3 GS, but unless my fuel filter/water separator is full of gas to begin with, my engine won't start on its own.

Don't you have a volt meter? If not, get one and learn how to use it.
it's going to get really expensive to find out it's something like a wire coming loose. You can't "Buy" that fix.
