    Default making a bow stop

When I purchased my project 84 Bayliner 2750 (6000LBS), I received in the deal a 30ft, Aluminum, 3 axle trailer. It has the winch but no bow stop. As you may expect, there is a lot of flex in a 30ft, aluminum trailer with no support on the bow end of the boat. Does anyone have any simple plans or ideas for constructing one? http://image20.webshots.com/21/8/58/...2ixnwHI_ph.jpg Jim

You can get something like this from Champion Trailers dot com, or you could make one.

You should have a bow stop, something to keep the boat from sliding forward on your trailer and into the tow vehicle in case of a sudden stop or accident. Go to this site and request a catalog: http://www.championtrailers.com/
