I am new to the forums and power boats. This seemed to be the best source of information I have found yet. I hope you guys can help me. I looked at a 1993 19ft Open bow this weekend. It looked in good condition and the (2nd owner) was asking $4,500 for it. There were some small cracks in the vinyl seats, didn't see any cracks in the hull. It includes the trailer and it has a v6 4.3L engine. He said he just got it checked out and that it runs great. It showed about 600hours on the clock, he had 2 covers on the boat, and he said he was selling it since he wanted to get a pontoon boat.
A couple of questions: (if you guys can answer)
1) Are parts going to be hard to find for this boat if I need to do a repair, since I heard they are no longer in production.
2) How are the boats in quality compared to other boats?
3) Is the floor of the boat made out of wood or fiberglass?
4) What do you guys think of the price?
I am also looking at a 18ft 1997 Sea Ray for $6,900 from a dealer.
