You may have a faded VIN # on your trailer which makes it impossible to read and makes it hard to register the trailer.
I just read this about the trick of putting some charcoal powder on your finger and lightly wiping it over the vin sticker. Because the VIn sticker is typed on the foil or paper the type writer supposedly leaves a slight indentation on there and the charcoal powder makes the indentations visible. I'll try tomorrow.
