Now that's living dangerously.![]()
Since he references a higher-priced rig across the state I think he's got his heart set on the asking price. No evidence that the other boat sold though.

You may have an easier time talking this guy down a bit...have you considered a 22' Islander with OMC I/O power![]()
Yah, you might be right. Sure is a nice set up though, shoot I could even go boating on it!
Hey man, I have plenty of OMC IO issues to go around!
Here are the three I have been eyeballing...
You know, as long as we have the green light to post up, eh! Starcraft on clist lives on

Each surely have their list of pros and cons.
looks to be glass, but.....IT HAS FINS (where IS that Batman smilie?) and in the lush land of a thousand (dry) lakes

This can be a nice rig. My wife will surely kill me for another boat. Ok, ok, I will go to my corner to fix the motor![]()

A) It's too much money. Nearly free means $300 or less.
B) We have not established "Jason" as his name, ever.
I agree with EZ, buy this one. This is a perfect compliment to your Islander. Open bow, and outboard. Opposites all the way.
Jasoutside (if that's your real name) you could take all sides in the infamous arguments open or closed bow or, I/O vs. outboard. 2 Starcrafts would also cement you as an icon among us.![]()
Trenton is not far from me. I'll go put a deposit down on it for you.

I should really get that 18 footer out of my head. There is no way my bride is going to be ok with three boats sitting around my place (including the "ghetto boat" Islander) at this stage.
Man, seems like a heck of a deal though....
Um, maybe I'll just call him and tell him I like his boat
Yup, I'm Jason. But I've been called plenty over the years so feel free to call me whatever ya like, I'm flexible!![]()
Ahhh I feel the Female anxioty lever increasing with the Starcraft -Craigslist - on the forum again. LOL
Jas just go buy it. Just tell the wife that you can scrap the boat for more than you paid.
I scored a pair of Cannon downriggers today off CL for $80 for both, slated to go on the Holiday once thats done. New they run around $150 each.

Not a bad argument for guys like us. Problem is she would call my bluff and give me directions to the scrap yard
Dude, I am looking forward to your Holiday rebuild!

I have a guy who really wants to see the boat but with my starting work at 4pm he cant make it over before then. One of you guys want to show it for me?![]()

man....it's only 99-101 here in El Paso, and we don't have 9 months of snow a year. and where i fish in Mexico is only 95-98.
my hat is off to you MI guys, you get a lot done w/o much time to work on your boats.
I dont mind the cold unless its -10 or something. Heck, I go sit outside and drill holes in the ice just to catch fish. When I put my GlovIt on this spring I had a tarp over the boat and a heater under it so it would be warm enough to cure it. When it hits 50 around here everyone is wearing shorts.![]()
