Hi, I am new to this site, and already love it! and new to starcraft boats. I just got a 67 Starcraft cuddy, 19ft. alum, it has a 50 HP on it.. its a 2 stroke, I want to put a 4 stroke on it... will a 25 HP Four Stroke be enough power to get me around the lake... 10-15 mph? maybe even 20 mph?? i believe it weighs around 900 Lbs... any ideas???

A 25hp will get you around the lake, but at about 7 mph maybe 8 mph depending on elevation.
I have a 25hp 2 stroke Johnson (1995) on my 21 foot Cuddy cabin (cheiftain) as a spare kicker motor. At sea level she will do 7mph wot, just switched to a larger, less pitch prop to get the rpms up and I hope to get 8 mph.
The 140 hp i/o tops out at 26 mph wot at sea level, fully loaded with 4 POBs
