Evinrude 4.5 - plugs ?

What is the good plug # for a 4.5-HP Erude 1980 - the owner's manual says L77JC4 but from the web site http://www.boatsetup.com/SparkPlugChart.html they show a QL86C ??<br /><br />This engine is a kicker and it is doing mainly only low speed trolling.<br /><br />Thanks<br /><br />Smokey ;)

I would use the Champion L77JC4... I've been using that in my CD ignition Johnrudes for years as recommended in the OMC manuals...<br />- Scott

The johny/rude dealer has been giving me that plug for years. I thought the original was superseded, but I'm not really sure.<br />It has worked fine for me.
