Johnson GT150 Reg/Rec

After read other post I think I have a bad Reg/Rec (no tach and 14v to 17v to the Battery)my question - is this easy to swap out? does the flywheel have to come off? the bolts under the flywheel look tight. If needed is it a big job to pull

Hey molsen04....welcome to the iboats forums!<br /><br />Yeah, you'll have to pull the flywheel. The bolts are a little long to get out without doing so. Other than that, pretty much a no brainer to change out. Be sure to get another gasket for the base and make sure all the old gasket material has been removed. A light coating of gasket sealer would be nice also.<br /><br />Keep us posted if you have any other questions.
