Where are the wires that connect to a trim gauge? I have seen the sensor for it under the motor but don't know where the wire are....maybe in the harness for the trim switch? It's a 90hp 1990 Johnson.<br />THanks

Just trace the wires that come from the sensor.

Tried that...they have been painted so I can't eve tell what color they were....then they go into a huge harness....are you suggesting that I cut the harness open all the way back to the helm? On a Pontoon boat this can prove quite difficult.

Surely someone here has connected a trim gauge before.
