ignition wiring 35 evinrude

i labeled the wires when i disconnected the old ignotion switch. the new switch has two terminal labeled "M" which i assume is Magneto for one but what is the the other "M" for<br /><br />i have the following terminals<br />a<br />b<br />c<br />s<br />m<br />m<br /><br />ideas please, as i am not a wiring genius

The other 'M' goes to ground (Battery -). In regular (old fashioned) magneto systems this connected to the other kill lead. You should have only one (black with yellow stripe).<br />It doesn't matter which 'M' terminal you use for which wire.<br /><br />A - accessories (radio, etc, on when boat is on)<br />B - Battery (fused wire from batt +)<br />C - Choke (to engine choke)<br />S - Start (to start solenoid)<br /><br /> Handy boat electrical page.<br /><br />Hope this sorts you out!<br />Good luck!
