Could anyone help me to identify a Johnson outboard motor?<br /><br />Model #: FD-17M<br />Serial #: 2331648<br /><br />What is the year and HP of this motor?

Fuel Mix FAQ<br />Spark plugs: Champion J4C gapped at .030"<br />Gear oil: 90/80W GL-5 rated outboard gearcase oil.

It's a 1963 18 HP Johnson motor with electric starter. Two cylinders. I just acquired one with serial number 23308(I think)32. EDIT
